Please do not make any presumptions on your size as our sizes are based around US standard sizes. Please contact us if you have any questions or need help with your size selection. Our return policy compares to the top retailers in the apparel industry. If any item, purchased at

Returns & Exchanges Policies for Online Purchases

How to Send A Return

Please process your return request within 10 days of order receipt date, and ship as indicated below. Refunds will be processed pending inspection of return.  Item must be in immediate re-saleable condition for instant full refund minus shipping, once return is received,: 

Original condition , not compressed or wrinkled
Original packaging
Unworn or unlaundered
With all the tags attached
10-15%, and up to 30%, restocking fee will be charged if one or more of the above conditions exist. A picture will be emailed to you explaining it.
Customer is responsible for return shipping charges. Please enclose a copy of your RMA form for faster service.
How to Start the Return Process

Please send an email to:
support@eastessence.com
Include order number, purchaser’s full name, and the nature of your request
Our customer service team will generate and email you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and our address for return shipping
Our return shipping location is in Newark, California and we highly encourage return shipping through a trackable mode of shipping.
Pack and seal your return merchandise securely (see How to Send a Return above) print, complete, and include RMA response email and "Customs Documents" (if applicable)
NOTE: EastEssence.com does not cover the cost of return shipping
Shipping and handling charges are not refundable

How Long Will It Take

Please allow 2-3 weeks from the return/shipped date for your account to be credited.
For International, please allow 4-6 weeks from the return/shipped date for your account to be credited.

Returning Defective, Wrong-Shipped Items

Eastessence.com stands by all the items. Please note there could be a slight variance in color due to screen resolutions which cannot be perceived as a defect. Also due to the manual nature of the hand embroideries there can be a slight variation in designs. All returned merchandise is subject to inspection. Exchanges for defective items will be made with identical size and item free of charge.

A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and our address for return shipping will be emailed to you.
Pack and seal your return merchandise securely (in the original package if possible), print, complete and include RMA response email and "Customs Documents" (if applicable).
After our customer service department receives and reviews your returned(s) a replacement item(s) will be mailed to you, if available, standard shipping unless requested otherwise, at no additional cost.
If no replacement item is available a full refund/credit for item cost and shipping charges will be given.
If you received the wrong item, to receive credit for your return shipping cost you must attach the Return Shipping Receipt along with the Return Form.
If overnight, 2 day, or 3-day service is used, only the amount UPS ground would have charged for the same return will be refunded to you, not the actual amount spent. For returns from International addresses, the shipping credit amount is subject to the following: If any standard shipping method is used, the full amount will be reimbursed. If any express shipping is used, only the amount USPS First-Class Mail International would have charged for the same return will be refunded to you, not the actual amount spent.
Will I be Charged Restocking Fees
A 10% restocking fee will be applied to any item not qualified for immediate re-sale
A 15% restocking fee will be charged on orders that qualified for free shipping
A 30% restocking fee will be charged on any tampered or intentionally damaged merchandise
Please know, EastEssence.com reserves the right to refuse your return

Non-Refundable Items
Final sales:  All Gift cards, e-gift certificates,  jewelry and items marked as "Sale" are final. FINAL SALE items cannot be returned for exchange, credit, or refunds.
Custom altered orders:  Custom orders cannot be returned for exchange, credit or refund.
